My "Pursuit of Happiness" doesn't include being keep alive against my will.
Using logic, if the definition of death is the absence of brain waves and a heart beat, they the definition of life is the presence of brain waves and a heart beat.
I don't see anyone protecting the most innocent of all.
keep alive against my will.
That's your choice. Unfortunately, Terri's had a mindset, 'where there is life, there is hope'. I'm sure you would want any rehab that could help you and I'm sure you will get it. However, Terri had the money for such rehab that was requested by her doctors early on but it was denied by her husband. So you see - your situation is the other end of the spectrum from Terri's. You can't put yourself in her situation.
Just a thought - what if a judge decides he isn't going to grant 'your request'. A judge did it before, another judge can do it again. What if someone is collecting some long term disability on your behalf and you may be worth more alive right now, than dead.
