Raids on businesses would not be something new, it was done for many, many years by Immigration officers. It is something that was toned down several years ago because our politicians chose not to enforce the laws in place. Business raids do still happen, just infrequently. In fact as things are now, ICE officers can and do raid businesses when they choose. They just don't choose to very often.

Actually, the Bush administration has been taking a more active role in the prosecution of employers who hire illegals. Where have you been?

I wan't talking about probable-cause raids that result from a lead. Of course that's been going on for years. That only nets a small percentage of the illegals.

I specifically mentioned "radom" raids where there is no probable cause.
