He is not a routine journalist, he is an anchor man so he is not to be considered an IMBED and had no reason to be there.

Purely coincidentally last night I heard their commercial on the radio about how they now move the anchors around to wherever news is happening. They made a big deal out of it as part of their marketing.
Jennings is dead, Brokaw retired, Rather was dumped. The three networks are trying to come up with formats -- I call thim gimmicks -- to set themselves apart and win the rating war.
That's all I was ever referring to.
I have no particular reason to wish this man ill, so I hope he recovers from whatever has happened to him, but my first thought when I read this piece was that the media set it up.
The same way they plotted the Bush NG memo, or set up their car tests to make them roll, explode, etc., they set this situation up.
