I've rean the same thing. Rather exceptional IMHO for the President to call 2 execs of a news organization into the oval office and ask them not to run a story due to nat'l sec. It's also interesting that they held it for 1 year and released it right before Risen's book on the subject came out. They should all be tried for treason!

Exactly - they were asked because of NATIONAL SECURITY, and they went ahead an published!! Why isn't that treason? Without knowing any facts one would conclude they published in order to help destroy this country (and BUSH along with it).

Stuff like this has never happened, except during Viet Nam, when our country was at war, but now it's almost common place, that still doesn't make them any less treasonous.and they should be prosecuted and tried for treason, IMHO.
