The Schieffer interview with the President is a disaster.
I viewed it already at the CBS news site.
Switched off after 4 minutes.
Bush's people shouldn't let him do these.

The Schieffer interview with the President is a disaster. I didn't see it that way. GWB seemed thoughtful and well spoken. His answers were straight forward. What did you find distressing other than his Bill Clinton comments?

Is it that bad, not watching?

Well, I don't know what you watched on the web site, but it just concluded here half an hour ago and what I saw was pretty good. Fair questions, no badgering, and the President was animated and didn't do much stammering.

You're dead wrong. I've criticized Bush on many occasions, but he held his own and came off as the down-to-earth, humble and honest nice guy that he is.

The Schieffer interview with the President is a disaster. It seemed to that many of W's answers were cut off, sometimes in mid sentence. I think that some of his answers were longer, but were at least truncated, if not edited. W should be like Rush and refuse to do interviews that are edited in any way.
