Vanden Heuvel on C-span explains to a caller why evangelical Christians should be democrats.
Civil Rights, the National Council of Churches, Shiavo are her big 3.
She's asks why liberal radio is a flop. Her response is "we need a marketplace for ideas". She says Molly Ivins would be a good choice to beat Rush in the ratings.

May be Frist should show Russert this:
Poll finds surprising optimists Iraqis and Afghans are the among most optimistic people in the world when it comes to their economic future, a new survey for the BBC suggests.
For once, atleast be proud of what our Country did for the 2 Countries future - REAL GOOD.

Dean on FNS keeps talking about the NSA, and keeps repeating,"It's been widely reported that...".

He'll probably just come out and say that someday.
To: anita
On the other hand he has come under fire for him and other members of his administration not appearing on the Sunday Talk Shows. Whatever he does he cannot win.

Dean on FNS: "Not one dime of Abramoff money went to Democrats".
Yeah, right.
To: All
I wish Frist would just reach out and slap Timmy.

Good - Frist just corrected Timmy's "Domestic survelliance" question and said terrorist suvelliiance.
Pubbies need to keep correcting Dims claims of domestic wiretapping - that's NOT what it is.
Timmy just read an article that said in essence that Bush didn't have the right to do this (Congressional Research).
For every 'scholar' that claims what Bush is doing is illegal, there are many more that says it is. Frist arguing that as the CIC, he has the right to do so per statute.

Morning all! Coffee up!
Whoa! President Bush on Face the Nation? I don't recall ever seeing him on one of these shows after he was elected. And Face to Nation to boot! My cable box is set to record this.
I might check out Dean briefly, just to see if his mental condition continues to deteriorate.
I remember hearing him on a radio show (I think before he announced his candidacy) and thought "Who is this guy, he's insane!"
I couldn't believe it when he ran for President.
To: Right_in_Virginia
He also has a bridge he'd like to sell us.
To: mware
You can't expect Dean to quote scripture correctly one doubts if he has ever read it for himself but just relied on his aids telling him the bare bones.
A bit like the Dem congress critters with the intelligence reports.

"Not one dime of Abramoff money went to Democrats". That statement has the same "ring" to it as "I never had sexual relations with that woman".
