The only reason Clinton/Gore et al talk about this and make it seem like such an emergency is to force countries, primarily the United States, to enter into agreements like Kyoto and give gobs of $$.

IF we ever fall for this, it will make the Oil for Food scandal seem like it involved pocket change. This is about the re-distribution of wealth and has nothing to do with climate change.

Or national security.

I'd like to know if Hillie shares her husband's national security priorities.

Is global warning more dangerous that al Qaeda, Hillie?

I'm so weary of seeing/hearing every word that falls from Bill Clinton's bitten lips being heralded as pronouncements from on High. Is there...somewhere...a big enough hook to get him OFF the stage?

Oh, scratch that.

Not only is President Bush not falling for Kyoto but the newly elected conservative leader in Canada has made it clear that he is NOT in favor of Kyoto.

Yep- the enviro whack movement has been a haven for ex-communists. It's a convenient tool to influence international politics since weather doesn't respect orders.

The miseducation of the average earthling plays right into this tripe.

Yeah, this is about "global inequality". Well I guess if we just tax "the rich" of this world until all are living simply without oil or electricity, we'll all be equal, and we'll solve global warming/global ice age in one whack.

And some (like Bill) will be more equal than others.

Spot on. Billybob is trying to look "worldly". I think he wants "our dear Kofi's" position at the head of the UN....

If you look at the three things he mentions...the second was "global inequality"....and what would fix "global inequality"?

Why...redistribution of wealth...that is what!!

"The only reason Clinton/Gore et al talk about this and make it seem like such an emergency is to force countries, primarily the United States, to enter into agreements like Kyoto and give gobs of $$."

Global-community elitists like Bubba need to hammer America's middle-class down with "world taxes" and make them more dependent on the State.

Me thinks Bubba is lobbying for Kofi's job.
