What's the Army's navy been up to on the Tigris and Euphrates lately?

What's the Army's navy been up to on the Tigris and Euphrates lately?

Not much. Around twenty years ago the Army’s Marine field was restructured. The only shallow river capability we have now is a few old LCM 8s. The LCU’s are now ocean going self deployable and aren’t much good for inserting troops on river banks. The LSVs are even larger as are the TSVs. We no longer have gun boats or even picket boats.
