I don't know...maybe it is me...but this whole thing is coming off like Kremlin creation from beginning to end. I do not know what they [Russians] are trying to accomplish but it seems that there is more here than meets the eye.
State controlled media trying to stir people up against something...it is not the British...or even spying...I'd venture a guess that this whole drama is simply a cover story and in a few days they'll come out with whatever they're pushing for [and reveal their real motive]: shutting down some NGO[s] or Christians or some other organization[s] that threatens their power.
Maybe I am too cynical? It is just coming off Dull, paranoid Russians meets Keystone Cops meets James Bond.
