Funny to the point of being bizarre: it takes John F'g Kerry to have to bring up the "F" word from a continent away just to raise even a glimmer of opposition. The only hiccup here is that mush-for-brains Olympia Snowe hasn't figured out which way the wind is blowing on this one yet (hint: it's blowing in from Switzerland).
Meanwhile, Obama is displaying the characteristics of why I think he'll eventually be seriously dangerous: he's a pragmatist -- he knows which battles to fight as a Democrat. Since there's 20% of the public in the middle that doesn't care enough to inform themselves about politics, that's the kind of approach from the Left that will win major elections.

That word: pragmist. No, he is not a "pragmatist,"; he is an opportunist. The first implies a detachment from ideology. He is very much the ideologue.

Obama is displaying the characteristics of why I think he'll eventually be seriously dangerous: he's a pragmatist That, and he's handsome and articulate. He speaks in such measured, reassuring tones that he actually seems to know what he is talking about. He's able to disguise the moonbat character of the modern Democrat Party.
