So it's important that Blunt not win on the first ballot. The blogging community has proven itself a force already, so here's a chance for it to make a major impact.

I heard John Fund say that it would be such a huge defeat for Blunt to lose on first ballot, that he could not recover.

It looks like Blunt is hiding while Boehner and Shadegg are making the rounds.

I think Boehner will win and Shadegg will position himself nicely for future leadership roles.
