Some people seem to think America is some sort of laboratory in which to test social theories. In this case, it is that we can live in peace and harmony with people who swear to kill all "infidels".
The problem with this is that we all get to participate, whether we like it or not, in the minds of such people.
Sorry, I'll pass on this one.
If Non Bri and others like him (or her) want to test thier theories, let them do it in this type of manner.
Take your wife and kids to the new Hamas ruled territory to congratulate them on their political victory. Bring the whole family. Tell them how tolerant you are of their religion when you get there. Walk around and be very visible. See what happens.
Jill Carroll (the kidnapped reporter) is known for her Islamic sympathies, and while I don't wish death on her, I suspect she is going to find out (already has, probably) just how 'tolerant' Islam is.
I'm tired of being some guinea pig for idiotic social engineers.

From what we're able to gather, the perpetrators are generally US-born converts and the victims are hardworking immigrants. Generally.

It doesn't and I never intended it to. My posts were more of a historical footnote.....not very many know of Carry Nation....and as far as the song goes....when I was a boy my mother used to listen to it from time to time and sing it herself. Its kind of catchy and obviously a bit tongue and cheek....a little bit of temperance humor.

There have been arrests in the vandalization of the stores.
Last month a clerk at a Muslim owned store in San Francisco was murdered.

The victim was identified Sunday by people who said they were friends and relatives of Yahya "Sam" Hamood, a native of Yemen in his mid-20s. They asked not to be identified out of fear for their safety.
"Sam was just about to close up the store and taking care of the last customer when some guy with a hat covering his face walked up and shot Sam in the back near the head," said a 15-year-old boy who identified himself as Hamood's cousin. "The guy didn't try to rob him or nothing. He just shot him and ran off."
The NOI thugs involved in the intimidation of the liquor stores in Oakland have been involved in their own version of a turf war, following the death of their leader,Yusuf Bey .
I'm speculating here, however, I wonder if the shooting of the store clerk in SF was their way of sending a message to other Muslim store owners?

It's no accident that the women's suffrage movement not only coincided but worked handed in hand with the temperance movement.
Probably as woman saw the increasing absence and irresponsibility of the men, thanks to liquor, they themselves began to question their own rights & duties.
Alcoholism took a heavy toll on women of early America too; it's a monster that discriminates against no gender, class, age or race.
