A new poll suggests most Americans don't approve of the way President Bush is handling his job.
The latest Time magazine poll puts Bush's approval rating at 41%. That's off 12 points from this time last year.
Two in three disapprove of the job he's doing to keep the cost of government down.
On Iraq, the poll finds 60 percent of those surveyed disapprove of the way Bush is handling the war. And people are split on how well he's waging the war on terrorism.
But there's some good news for Republicans. According to Time, 57% of those surveyed haven't been following the case of disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff. And the poll finds 3/4 of Americans fault both parties equally for the corruption and illegal activities in Congress.

When the troops start coming home.
Anyone who believes anything written is TIME magazine is not wrapped too tight!!!
Poll from large cities + Oversample Dems + Leading questions = Desired result (Bush/Republicans wrong, evil, etc.)
What is AP?
I think I have heard of them, around 12 years ago. Russian company, or something.
Democrat?
Old media, perhaps. I just don't know. Haven't heard of them.
If they have access to the Internet, and an I.Q. above a toaster, not long.
It's really laughable.
read my tagline please
Probably over sampled Rats.
They already are coming home and we are slowly going to stop rotations for certain units so it will continue happening over the next 2 years. The problem is there is going to be no event the public is going to be able to look to that says its over.
Until then maybe we have to change the way we are getting our message out.
Apparently you believe in media polls.
None of the polls including Rassmussen have the president at over 46% approval on the Iraq. That is something that pisses me off. Because when things actually were alot worse in Iraq his numbers were higher.
Another FAKE POLL to justify the MSM's FAKE NEWS.
And that doesn't tell you something about polls?
IIRC, all the polls also had the President losing the 2004 election. You're touting a losing cause.
Ten months of silence on Iraq hurt him badly. He almost made the mistake by letting the media frame the NSA issue as "domestic spying." He responded much more quickly but was still too slow. Needs a media expert in there. Someone who responds quickly and effectively. Not Rove, not Hughes.
Someone else.

Look up AP in a seach engine.

Some, not all. Most of the MSM polls had it either tired or Kerry ahead while Rass had the President winning and was almost 100% with the final outcome.
One more of these phoney polls, and I'm going to call on Helen Thomas.
Before and up until the last election the MSM was touting the Presidents job approval at 42-48% and they were claiming there was no way in hell the President could win under 50% but he did. Since last year his poll numbers have never been reported above 50% so there is only one conclusion I can come up with and that would be their sample is wrong.
