People who adopt shelter dogs are special and those who adopt old shelter dogs are extra-special.

I might even start to love the old guy.

Vickie adopted us when she was 8. She was a 'washed out' show dog and the previous owners took her to the humane society because they just didn't want her anymore. She went to doggie heaven last winter.

Here's our other dog, she's 9 now.
