Interesting that the Senate Vote on the Alito Nomination is not listed "among the week's top stories"
Cause they know they lost the filibuster fight already?
Great idea Phsstpol. Looks like a great lineup for a change other then the Worst President in US History being on CNN. Notice they can only find has beens to comment for them on the Mid East Peace process. Maybe because only failed politician's believe in it any more?
I don't see how they can avoid talking about it, at least in the roundtable discussions. But they don't have a chance in hell of hurting Alito so I think they'll push it off as "we'll see when it happens."
The only thing I bet they'll push is some bizarre logic to give cover to those that attempt a filibuster. They'll try to make the case that, no matter how foolish they look, they're really "upholding the great traditions of democracy and the Senate."
Wanna bet one of them will bring up Jimmy Stewart's filibuster in Mr. Smith Goes To Washington?
