As for the "refinery" at the Slope, I believe it was shut down in the mid-80's. Both BP and ConocoPhillips each operate small facilities producing diesel. BP's is in Prudhoe Bay and supplies fuel for the eastern side of the North Slope. ConocoPhillips is in Kuparuk and supplies fuel for the western side including a pipeline across the Coleville River to Alpine.

They best watch out, or the greenies wikk be screaming and moaning about "global warming" without even checking the current temperatures in Fairbanks!
The slope has to be one of the cleanest operations on the planet, and still we can't get ANWR...they're killing me, they're killing me...
