Garlic smells 4 days old are not conducive to a happy atmosphere! LOL Youve obviously never hung out at an Italian home! there is something constantly on the stove and the kitchen is a VERY happy place :)

Finns love it. We have a sweet bread called Cardamom Bread which is always served to guests and family. I have made it in years past. A tradition I passed to my children.

God Bless you bentfeather! You found it!!
This forum is such a great way to honor our troops!! Besides that it's also a very good way for our only son, when he's home from college, to do some bonding time w/his dad because we both love music.
We recently returned to snowy Bend, Oregon from the Big Island of Hawaii. That's where I heard the song "Thinking about You" (On Lava 105 FM oldies radio) One of the best visual sights I had was at the Honolulu airport. To set this up correctly I am a guy that gets teary eyed whenever we have a flyover for a holiday up here in the high-desert.
While waiting for our flight home I was looking out at the runway and saw six F-15 Eagles, one after another shoot down the runway, start a slight incline then go up at almost a 45 degree angle then flip over and curl off to the right. Folks in the terminal musta thought I was some kinda weird dude as I had tears running down my cheeks.
Thanks (very much) again to all that put in the time and effort to make this forum possible. I'm sure there are many, like me, that normally just read & listen.
Back to lurking....but, take the points on Seattle. :)
