Nearly 31,000 acres was designated as critical habitat to be conserved for the recovery of the Preble's meadow mouse, which has dwindled to an average of 44 mice per mile of stream because of urban sprawl. It's a rodent! Who cares what happens to it.

Delano, California is infested with huge crows. You can't poison 'em; and you can't shoot 'em. When you travel along Fwy 99 in the evenings, the trees are black with them. They consume the crops nearby.

My cat doesn't care less who is protecting the mouse. If he runs into one he will still bring it in to try to fed the family.
If we turn loose about a dozen of these Coon Cats the problem will be solved before sunset.
