If this isn't Soros trying to manipulate the market... I don't know what is....

Markets can be manipulated, but eventually the fundamentals will catch up.

Fundamentals being: Mexican oil production peaked last year. Kuwait peaked last year. Kuwait cut their reserves in half last week. And so on. Peak Oil will be here soon and may be the defining event of a generation.

Peak oil is a myth, the true supply is inexhaustible. Just takes more drilling and deeper drilling.

The supply is being held back to boost prices. OPEK is a price fixing cartel, and serves no other purpose than price fixing.

"Peak Oil will be here soon and may be the defining event of a generation."

A generation? Try the human race!

Cheap energy drives our world. If peak oil is fact, we shouldn't drill or use domestic oil. Instead we should use up everyone else's resources, and save ours for the tough times.

"Kuwait peaked last year."

Um, no, they will be increasing it in the future.

" Kuwait cut their reserves in half last week."

news to me... the link?

" And so on. Peak Oil will be here soon and may be the defining event of a generation."

Yes, it will be the defining event ... of 2035.
CERA has estimated another 16 million barrels a day coming online in the next 10 years. we are far from peak oil, indeed it is a flawed concept.

I do not believe Mexican or Kuwait oil "peaked" or know what your definition of the term is. There is more oil than the general public realizes and new methods of getting it being developed every year.

IF past predictions were believed, we ran out of oil about twenty years ago. So, I guess nobody knows where the current oil supply is coming from.

Regardless. Drill ANWR and develop nuclear energy along with research for new energy sources. Democrats want the last one but go balistic over the first two. The heck with them.
