Oh, Mrs. Chaka Fatah is going to be smug tonight. Good thing nobody watches her anymore since Larry jumped ship.

Chaka would take oil from Osama bin Laden himself if:
1. He thought it would make Bush look bad.
2. It was going to people that shared Chaka's pigmentation, 'cause it's all about helpin' a brother.

New York City, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and American Indian reservations in Maine. And now Philly.
Hugo certainly knows the blue territories, doesn't he?

I was very glad Larry left. Couldn't stand him. I think the quality of local news in Philly took a permanent nose dive when he came. Ugh!

WELL..well..looks like the democrats have their very own version OF 'OIL FOR TREASON' program going on! What next...blue states openly fighting for every enemy of the United States?
To: hipaatwo
where do i sign up for some this "generous" offering?
To: hipaatwo
Fattah said receiving the Venezuelan oil wasn't embarrassing and filled a real need. "This is not a political matter we have the ability to keep families in the Philadelphia area warm," he said. What does embarrassing have to do with anything??
Chavez is a known commie who sides with the terrorist that want to kill us

Smart libs would be brokering the oil from those blue states and selling them to red states at a higher price that Chavez sold it to them for but less than we are getting it from the rest of the arabs. Of course, that would require smart libs (Kennedy's aside, who own no less than three oil companies and only pretend to be liberal).
We need to find some way to sucker Chavez into selling even more under-market oil to the US and we could actually end up driving down oil prices overall. As long as Chavez thinks that he is sticking it to us, he would go along with it.

If Chavez wants to sell oil at a loss we should buy every drop of it we can. It's a win-win.

Not sure how to respond. Things are never simple. It is easy if one is middle class, with a decent paying job to snuff at those that may be barely hanging on. I for one am not against helping the lower class and the poor. Not all are in that position because they desire to be so. This issue in the current scheme of events is hard to deal with in black and white. Someone barely hanging on, are not going to question the reasons behind getting low cost fuel oil. They are going to be thankful for not freezing this winter.
Let me go out on a line. I fully blame both the Democrate and Republican parties for the past twenty five years for allowing this country to get in the shape it is now in regarding our means to provide reasonable pricing for oil derived heating/cooking sources. We are now more then ever reaping those things that should have been addressed long ago. Both parties are to blame.

I think this may be the same Dhimbulb that wanted to force all of our gas stations to have attendants so there would be more jobs in PA and it would be illegal for you to pump your own gas. Also a member of the Democratic Socialist Assclowns (DSA)

Why is the federal government allowing this to happen? They should put a stop to it immediately.
