The Pentagon Breaks the Islam Taboo

Washington 's policy-makers have been careful in the war on terror to distinguish between Islam and the terrorists. The distinction has rankled conservatives who see scarce difference.

ALL TRUE!

But you would not even entertain the possibility that feeling 'occupied' may have something to do with it.

Is it impossible for you to believe that some Arabs would NOT want American Military presence in their Holy Land?

Why do you think we moved our bases out of Saudi Arabia. Finally it dawned on the Pentagon Brass, we could keep the military presence and achieve the same objectives, without offending people.

I'm shocked - simply SHOCKED - to learn, after about 13 centuries pillage, rape, debauchery, mass-murder, the spreading of Islam at the bloody edge of a sword, a couple of (fortunately failed) invasions of Europe, the ongoing enslaving, denigration, cattle-like treatment, and even mutilation of women, their invention of the airplane hijacking about 35 years ago (which recently reached its zenith with the destruction of two skyscrapers and about 3000 people via passenger jet), various and sundry video-taped beheadings, the blowing up of innocent tourists, or bus riders, or school children, all over the world, and hundreds of items on even the MSM's evening news showing thousands scarf-wrapped militants waving AK-47's in the air and shouting "death" to anyone not like them...that the Pentagon has concluded Islam is NOT a religion of peace. How insensitive.

Actually, how come it's taken - and among many people, is still taking - so long to perceive something as obvious as, say, a chimpanzee growing out of one's nose?

And, what will John "we-need-a-more-snensitive-war-on-terror" Kerry say about THIS?

Pan-islamism must be destroyed. Totally.

Now, how many muslims are islamists?

Islam is so disgusting. How can anyone in their right mind think that this mohammed child rapist, murderer and theif is a holy man.People who worship islam must be either clueless about the realities of the world or want to dominate the world with their fellow barbaric people that worship this trash. FK the Koran and Mohammed. I wouldnt care if we nuked the whole muslim world I grow weary of these animals.

You don't want to know the answer.

When fighting cancer, how many malignant cells should be left intact in order to avoid damaging any non-malignant cells?

The answer is another question:

Do you want to live?

You nailed it!....

*sigh*

I found at least one "no shit Sherlock" in every paragraph.

If this article is accurate, we are in some serious trouble, since apparently the Rip Van Winkles over at the Pentagon are about 4 years behind everybody else.

I'm finding this hard to swallow. This is not some kind of revelation.

Wake up and smell the enemy!

The one take-home lesson about Islam I learned in high school (government school even) world history was that it was okay for them to spread their religion by the sword. If that isn't a functional definition of a militaristic (or, more appropriately these days--terroristic) religion, I don't know what is.

I think the US needs to define our constitutional meaning religion to exclude any philosophy that advocates or endorses our nation's demise. Islam is not worthy of 1st Amendment protections.

What would we call islam today if it started on Jan 1, 2006?

Cult? Mob? Revolutionaries? Blood Fanatics?

It seems it would be everything BUT peacemaker.

In 1968 Robert Kennedy was killed by:

a) A member of the Mob.
b) A member of SDS
c) A member of the Klan
d) A Muslim male extremist between the age of 17 and 40.

It's been going on for a lot longer than you think.

It's been going on for approximately 1300 years. And the dim-wit-crats still don't get it.

THE AGENDA OF ISLAM - A WAR BETWEEN CIVILIZATIONS

WHAT THE QURAN TEACHES!

"Mainstream" Islamic site "Islam Q+A": Can the Muslims live in peace in Palestine? (KILL THE JEWS!)

OFENSIVE WAR FOR JIHAD (EXPLAINED BY MUSLIMS)

...the importance, reward and requirement for the Muslims to perform Jihaad Fi Sabeel Lillah i.e. physical struggle:

...the saying and actions of Muhammad (Salalahu Alaihi Wasallam) show that Jihaad definitely is to start (offensive) fighting the kuffar to make the Words of Allah the highest and to propagate (da’wa) the call of Islam. Muhammad (Salalahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:

"I have been ordered to fight the people until they bear witness that, ‘there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger’ and they establish the prayer and the zakat. And if they do this, then from me is protected their blood and their wealth except by the right granted by Allah."

As for his (Salalahu Alaihi Wasallam) actions, they are full of actions that show Jihaad is to start the fighting. So when he went out to Badr to take the caravan belonging to the Quraysh, this was going out to fight, this is offensive – as Muhammad (Salalahu Alaihi Wasallam) initiated the action before the Quraysh. Likewise, when Muhammad (Salalahu Alaihi Wasallam) invaded Hawazin in the battle of Hunayn, when he (Salalahu Alaihi Wasallam) seiged Ta’if and the battle of Mutah to fight the Romans and the Battle of Tabuk – all of these are evidences to show that Jihaad is to start fighting kuffar (offensive). This should clarify the erroneous view that in origin Jihaad is defensive...

*ahem* I recently had a little one-on-one talk with a former head of DARPA. After hearing me out he asked if I'd be willing to fly to Washington (on their dime) to talk to some DARPA people...
