I wasn't aware that Marfan's syndrome was a disorder. I thought it was just a genetic characteristic. I have it, and two of my three children inherited it. My Mother had it and one of my Uncles has it. It appears to be a dominant trait.
I guess one day blue eyes will be considered a genetic "disorder."

People with Marfan's Syndrome have a greater chance of dying from a heart attack. A woman.s Basketball star that died very young had it. I think it can also affect the heart valves.

The children from the union of my uncle and aunt produced children (6) with Marfan who (all except one) died in their early twenties. They looked like Abe Lincoln. None of us on the other were affected.
