EVERETT - A statewide computer sweep of voter registration records in Washington found 11,500 voters listed as dead by the state Health Department.

The sweep this month also found 36,000 voters who appear to be registered in two counties. The manager of the new $6 million database project, Pam Floyd, says the names have been flagged for further scrutiny.

Snohomish County immediately canceled the voter registrations for the more than 1,400 dead people.

The state has 3.5 million registered voters.

Monthly sweeps are planned for duplicate and deceased voters. In March, officials plan to create the first comprehensive list of felons whose voting rights are in question.

The 5 w's are history. Today everything is spin. When I was in the msm we still did straight news reporting, who what, where, when, why, today everything is agenda reporting. Sad times, but the "New Media" will carry the ball and we will do it on fr.

I'm registered in Washington state (I was 4 years ago), but I moved back to Texas (woo-hoo!!), who goes around and deletes my voting priveledges from the Olympa records?

Back during the last election, when it was shown that Michael Moore was still registered in Michigan even though he now lives (and votes) in NY, many people thought that this was his responsibilty and that he'd done something criminal by not actively cancelling his old registration.

http://byronik.com/fiasco.html (excerpt from the link)

>>>>>>Not only is it generally accepted historical fact that Lyndon B. Johnson was one of many US presidents elected by means of ballot-stuffing (at least 202 votes were added in his favour after polls closed on his election to Congress in 1948) but when he felt safe from any danger of investigation he used to tell hysterical audiences about Manuel, a boy in a Mexican border town, who was crying because his father had come to town but not visited him. Dramatising the story, Johnson would then take the role of Manuel's friend and say: "But Manuel, your father has been dead for ten years." But the boy just sobbed louder. "Si, he has been dead for ten years. But he came to town last Saturday to vote for Lyndon Johnson, and he did not come to see me."<<<<<<

This is simply outrageous. They better do a thorough analysis to see how many of these dead and multi-county voters voted.

How many of those 11,500 dead people voted? This election was such a farce. WHY can't Mr. Gonzalez look into it?

This is criminal and hopefully someone in the State will lask the Justice Dept. for a full investigation before 2006.
