Definatly odd, he does alot of interviews with and associates with alot of conservatives.
Though it could just be because republicans are in power.
In some of his other interviews he comes across as viewing the UN as incompetant.
Barnett is a confessed, unrepentant, life long Democrat. I believe he briefed Kerry during the campaign and declared beforehand his intention to vote for Kerry.
Does not matter one little bit.
What matters are his ideas, who pays attention to them, and the debate which follows. As he'll quickly tell anyone when asked, his side is never out of office . . . or work. :-)
