Absolutely true story. I was on a Southwest flight from Orlando to Baltimore and the male flight attended was giving the pre-flight instructions and said;
“If there is cabin de-pressurization, an oxygen mask will drop over each seat. If you are traveling with a child, place the mask over the child’s face. If you are traveling with more than one child, decide which child you like best and place the mask on that child’s face first”.
He also said something about in flight service saying “We will be serving coffee, tea, sodas, drinks and Prozac for those of you traveling with small children”.
I thought he was very funny and deserved a cover charge but I don’t think everyone thought he was funny. After being on a flight with howling child, I’ll take my howling cat any day.
