doyenne Helen Thomas

"Doyenne" -- now that's a new word for me. I had to look it up. "Doyenne: a female doyen." Now that was a big help.

I had to look it up too. A "doyenne" is a woman who is most respected or prominent person in a particular field.

I think they meant "cretin."
