I suspect the invite to the ranch should be issued in the coming weeks. Hope Harper likes Bar-B-Que and cutting cedar.

"Dubya may still be plotting to carpet-bomb Regina........"
Better not touch Regina.
Half my friends up along the Highline (aka US Hwy 2) wouldn't have anyplace to go for a one-day shopping trip.
Don't want to think about dealing with that many ticked-off ranchers' wives.

There's no Tim Hortons where Michael Moore REALLY lives, New York City. It's definitely Krispy Kreme or, more likely here, Dunkin Donuts - there are more of them than anything else.

Also how can it be a MINority?? That s a mistake I think you can't be government if you don't get most of the votes. Unless Canadians cant count!!!
That's incorrect. The party that wins the most seats usually gets the first chance to form a government in Canada's parliamentary system. That party need win a majority or ridings or formally enter into a coalition with any other party as long as the Governor General thinks the party can functionally govern.
The Liberals formed a minority government in 2004 without formally entering into any coalition with the NDP or any other party. They held 135 seats. 155 or more would be a majority. The Liberals governed for over a year.

I thought they were putting 'Timmies' in the US now, they're owned by Wendy's now, through the snowbird routes to AZ & FL.

They are, but so far the only ones in New York state are in the Buffalo area. New York City is almost always the last place to get a new chain-type establishment. We barely have any Home Depots or Targets and there's not even a Wal-Mart within city limits or in much of the suburbs, for example. The NIMBYs fight everything that the high rents don't keep out.

Then he took what sounded like a shot.
"We have good relations with Canada and we want to build upon those relations," said McClellan, "and strengthen those ties."
I'm wondering how that "sounded like a shot"?

The NIMBYs fight everything that the high rents don't keep out.
They fight to keep low-cost stores out, and fight for rent control laws, yet these pricks are the same ones who moan about 'the poor'. History has proven rent control laws to have some of the worst effects on humanity ever.

Jelly Roll Moore is on a roll with the biggest political losing streak known to man... The man guesses all the losers all the time (shouldn't he be in a world book of records!).
