the decision was made because human rights officials in border states expressed concern that the maps would show anti-immigrant groups where migrants likely would gather. Fortunately for the Minutemen, a copy of the map which showed where all the water stations are located was published on Free Republic yesterday.
Unless those human rights officials now move their water stations, it is public knowledge. Hiding them from the Minutemen would likely make it harder for the illegals to find them too.
This is just too stupid to believe!

Time for some non-Minutemen to help the Minutemen by taking care of the water holes. I would volunteer if I lived within 200 miles of the border.

The org that wanted to distribute the maps is a legal US entity--who can be sued. Someone clued him in that if they encourage/enable/foment trespass on private property--they can get sued, "Intentional tort".
They already may find themselves in court. If I was a harassed rancher on the border dealing with this constant danger, I'd try to go after them.
That's the problem with being legal, as opposed to illegal. Y'got all these dang regulations, duties, responsibilities and liabilities. If you're illegal, you just ignore all that.

Unless said water stations are on private property, with the permission of the owners. If they are, there is nothing the Minutemen can do, or rather should do, because they would be committing one crime to prevent another. They would have to wait in areas that are public or where they have permission from the property owners.
