This is actually a good thing. Palestinians have now defined themselves as a political entity. They are at war with Israel and have no interest in peace or development. No more two-faced diplomacy a la Arafat. Just the clean truth. I like that better. Now the US and others are completely justified in turning off the money spigot. We can no longer support a regime that is at war with one of our allies.

Maybe now we will stop hearing about how most Palestinians are "peace-loving".

Bush made the elections possible but the wrong party won. It quite possible the news conference will lay out a plan but I see this as positive. The problem all along was dealing with a party with two faces. Now its clear who we are dealing with and Bush can handle it.

When the Hamas does nothing more than
continue to kill people, the man on
the street will realize they've made
a mistake. Then the real blood bath
will begin and Palestinians will
look for help from outside.

"...."Bush won't dictate to us"....No, we'll just leave that to the democrats here in the U.S. to do that..."
I find it fascinating that in recent years, the dem have not credited the President with a single good position or stance.
During the Clinton years, as much as I disliked the man, I found an occasional act that I could agree with.
The dems have an obvious program of hate, obfuscation and negative posturing with regard to Mr. Bush's presidency.
How could anyone with an IQ above the number of spots on boxcar dice vote for a party so bereft of ideas and logical thought. In 5 years, I have yet to hear a positive remark from a dem re: Mr. Bush. Nor has a single Dem offered a "here's what we propose" comment.
Unprecedented in the hatred shown!
