I live just 6 miles north of Exeter. My spouse was raised in Exeter and almost all of his family still live there...so we are glued to this story. We really hope that this ends well.
Still going on???
Yep. KMPH 26 News just said another hostage has been released. Now down to three hostages being held inside the bank.
I'm too lazy to do the linky dink thing....

They had cut the feed from kmph earlier, they said the man was watching everything on the TV inside the bank. I had also heard one of the hostages was a man, any new reports on this. I did see on TV, the one hostage came out, it looked like a teller I personally know, that has worked there for many years.
Everyone I know is glue to their TVs praying for those hostages.
They just announced on the 11 o'clock news that they brought in food for those left in the bank.
So at this point there are 3 left in the bank. They aren't announcing why the robber is releasing hostages.
No Doubt. I started praying when I heard about it at 5:45. I could not believe the amount of police cars and people that are in town. Hopefully shortly this man will release the other 3 hostages. They are great people there at the bank, and this is just terrible.
JimRob,
I live in Exeter. Situation is over as of 3:30 this morning. I think all but one hostage had escaped already by bolting, and finally when the 49 year old hispanic perp asked for cigarettes, he was rushed by SWAT upon delivery, no shots fired.
My sister works in the only other bank in town. He apparently visited them earlier in the day, and just got some change. They called the police after he left because he gave them the creeps.
Hey HomersNose!
I never noticed your screen name before. I see you every day when I look to the east northeast! :)
