Very true, but if the federal government came off the oil tax teat for a while that would alleviate prices.
Plus this can be turned full bore on the democrats, they didn't want ANWAR drilling or Colorado drilling or offshore drilling in places like California and Florida.
Plenty of tools out there just got to use them the right way.

What they should do is dramatically cut the taxes on gas, and propose massive increases on beer taxes.
When the people say NO WAY, then the only alternative will be to drill for more oil, which the people will then demand.
20 bucks for a six pack, or drill for more oil...I know what most people will say to that!
