Salazar is more liberal than most people think/thought. So is Colorado. The urban areas all voted Democrat in the last election, it seems, while the rural areas voted Republican. Colorado's political map resembles the US one - lots of red, but all the heavily populated areas are blue.

I agree, now is not the time to be a timid conservative voter.
The only way we can clean up the mess caused by the liberal courts is to keep putting politicians into place that won't buckle under the weight of left wing politics.
