I'm not sure about this. There is an awful lot of money the dims raise tied to this issue, more than just the feminists. Most Hollyweird money is radically pro-abortion as is the NEA. The dims may go down with the ship rather than throw this issue overboard. Look at the Alito vote - straight party-line opposition to an eminently qualified 15 year veteran of a federal Court of Appeals due to one, single issue: abortion.

There is always a chance that this will be a grand slam HR for the GOP with the Dim potty splintering into two or more parties, one the traditional Dims (whatever the Hell that means) and then, of course, the anti-war but kill the babies party.
