I agree with you. I had second thoughts after I posted. I work in Anchorage and started from a distorted view.
I'm one of the many who just visited Anchorage during tourist season. It seemed to be a "red" area. I like that. I live in a very "Blue" area, very metropolitan. Anchorage, from a short visit, seems much more like middle America than it seems like a city.
I'm not into cold, though. Maybe the South for me.

You know, I live what is arguably the most Liberal city in North America; Montreal Qc, Canada. What stikes me about Liberals here is that they assume that an entitlement is a birthright. Like a fridge being full or the cubboards replete with goodies.
