That's certainly been a possibility I've been wondering about.... it would not surprise me at all if this were done by some left-liberal twit who wanted to drag the FBI into Newton's public library so that the local librarians and demagogues could turn it all into a cause celebre. We should all try to follow any updates on this case (if there are any) and find out whether it was ever judged a genuine threat, whether a perp is found, etc. What if it turns out to be another weepy liberal college student like the guy (also a Masshole) who claimed he was being harassed by the feds for checking out Mao (that one turned out to be a total crock of a set-up scam).
