He thinks he can have a rough draft of the plan completed by the end of 2006.

I guaranteee you that the Bush Administration will go to great lengths to avoid seeing THAT happen! They'd probably send out the A-10s against the Texas Rangers if they threatened to capture these invaders. They much prefer their "plausible denial-ability".

But I did hear an apocryphal story about De Gaulle in the twenties or thirties instructing an aide to make a plan to line certain French roadways with trees so indeed the French Army could have some shade on long marches. The aide said "Mais Mon General, they will take twenty years to grow!" and supposedly De Gaulle said "This is why we must plant them NOW."

Deporting 20 million peasants is a big job. We need to get started right away.

I heard on Fox & Friends this morning that the Mexican government is printing and distributing thousands of maps of the U.S.boarder to their citizens.

And my local paper (www.svherald.com) ran a front page story about the Reverend Robin Hoover giving a presentation in Mexico City about the maps, what they mean, and how they can be used to save lives.

I suggest the US Army set up overwatch teams along this smuggling route that can take out two or three crew-served weapons.

It remains to be seen if they are real Mexican military or fakes in uniform.

In my book, whether you are a duly authorized agent of a foreign entity or not...when you don the uniform of that entity and take up arms with the intent of trespass and criminal activity on foreign soil...you risk a case of severe lead poisoning from what ever local, state or federal forces that have been marshalled against you.

Well, the US govt. paid Mexico fifty grand last year for Mexican army uniforms...so they could chase drug smugglers. The Mexican army could be excused for thinking they have the key to the back door, too.
