Good Morning Ms.Amy! Lovely thread and so classy! Makes even winter look appealing .. that is how talented you are.

Will see what I can dig up to post. I for some reason cannot get into the external hard drive with my pix from 94/95... so will go back a little further..

And to Ms. Lori.. for whatever help you provided.. thank you(guess it was graphics)

I am so impressed you are doing so well with the tables also Amy.. tricky to get formatted when you have a lot of stuff in it!

Thank you.

I canceled morning plans so I could get some work done here home. HA!

These pix are from a ski outing in 2003. I have actually about 500 pix total from each day & my friend who I skied with has double. They are simply goregous shots of various lakes, forest areas, woodlands, meadows, streams etc that we covered in the course of the 5 hour outing each day. For 3 hours the first day the snow was very heavy.. I might post a few later of that depending on time.

These pix are PRE-FRee Republic.
For "some reason" my outings are shorter & less frequent!

Very pretty and chilly Post today Amy. I'm happy that you're not dealing with the harsh cold elements the way we on the east coast are, if you were you would be posting pictures of sunny California, lol :)

Adding this painting of a Cardinal in East Tennessee by my favorite artist to the wintry scenery.

Yes. Amy, bless her heart, knows how much I love working with graphics in photoshop, so she indulges me by letting me do some of her graphics for her. :-)

Good morning, you two.

Your snow pictures are so beautiful, Dolly. It doesn't snow here, except once every ten years or so....but it still gets cold. I wish we could have snow for just a day, or a week.....then it would go away. I am not a cold weather person.

Speaking of cold weather, I have a couple webcam feeds from Tampere, Finland (where my foreign exchange daughter lives) on my profile page....just so I can keep an eye on what is going on in her corner of the world. Talk about COLD! Last week they went into a deep freeze where the temperature never got above -10 degrees F. And it's dark there too most of the time. Unless I stay up half the night, all I ever get to see on the webcams is Tampere at night....

Looks like they are having a heatwave, the temperature is up to 30F now.

The funny thing is, it must be a dry cold in Finland because Katja said that the coldest she had ever been in her life was when when we took her on a trip up to Seattle and Victoria BC in January. The wind coming off of Puget Sound nearly froze her solid.

Dear Amy,

I am here laughing about the winter cookies.

I first saved the Sheperd pie recipe.....and wondered if someone would be kind enough to enlighten me about ??? 2 cups gravy. Do they mean a medium white sauce and just flavor it with the boulion. Or is it beef gravy....or I don't think it would be the "gravy" like an Italian recipe sauce. So you see I was seriously going to try to make this ....and then I decided to save the potato soup recipe..... and I thought why not get the Winter cookie recipe too. The first two sounded like winners --- so I copied it and then read it. Very good. I'll let you know how they turn out.

I'm about to "mix on the turner."
Have a great day. Let us all have some Winter cookies --it is quite gloomy and cold and I'm sure they will spice up our day. Come on DollyCali--I'll bring over some ingredients and we can do some baking.
