The Academic Bill of Rights guarantees students and professors the right to express their views in their research papers and comments and opinions in class. The evidence is there when you look for it, that students refrain from expressing their viewpoints in fear of lower grades and beratement. Sadly, union leaders, are working hard to prevent this bill from moving forward. Please write Senator Kenneth P. LaValle and express your support. Thanks!

Jay,

P. Orenstein is a good friend of mine. He's working hard to promote a much needed Academic Bill of Rights for New York State. Let me know what you think of the article.

JohnsonÕs moderate Democratic political views were out of line in New YorkÕs higher education dance.

Sounds like a bunch of Stalinists are busy purging moderate leftists. These people would set up Gulags if only they could.
