If you are waiting for the anchor baby issue to be changed, you better bring a lunch.

As for the mexican reforms, it is easy to see what hasn't been done and what has been done.

We can even rank them. Which reform do you think is most important for Mexico?

That was just my point. Until the Anchor Baby aspect is addressed, guest-workers are a fraud and a delusion.

Man, you really set up a buffet. Let's just start with controlling OUR borders and let the internal pressures, probably cal. 30, set their agenda.

Your bring a lunch advice is probably correct, as our current bunch of politicians, with a few exceptions, will do nothing more that yell, "Look! There's Elvis!" instead of taking any action. Even gunfire across our border doesn't move them, for Chrissakes.

In the 14th Amendment... The phrase "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" was intended to exclude from automatic citizenship American-born persons whose allegiance to the United States was not complete. In the case of illegal aliens who are temporarily or unlawfully in the United States, because their native country has a claim of allegiance on the child, the completeness of the allegiance to the United States is impaired and logically precludes automatic citizenship.
