Today, President Bush welcomed Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz to the Oval Office where the two discussed the relationship between the two countries, and made a joint statement to the press. Later in the day, President Bush welcomed 2005 NASCAR Nextel Cup champion Tony Stewart to the South Lawn of the White House where they posed for a photo op with the Nextel Cup Champion team (and the winning Chevrolet !) He also met with West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin in the Oval Office, whose legislative proposals to improve mine safety have passed by the West Virginia Senate unanimously.
Today, the Senate Committee voted along party lines to send the nomination of Judge Samuel Alito to the Senate floor for confirmation.
Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island and the Daily Dose!
I would be terribly disappointed without our swaggering President. Reid is jealous.
Great pictures tonight, ohio. Those are really nice pictures of Judge Alito; nicer than I've seen anywhere else.
ABC got caught lying about Justice Scalia's attendance at a Federalist Society event and the Society really took ABC apart about it. Hah!

If there was any doubt that Kansas is a "red" state, that doubt was erased Monday at least inside Bramlage Coliseum. Kansas State University gave a thunderous welcome to President Bush, who delivered the 142nd Landon Lecture.

You will find more photos here [just ignore the obligatory 'protest' photos . . . almost 10,000 supporters vs a few dozen protesters and yet the media gives the latter equal coverage vis a vis the former . . . DISGUSTING!]

Lol I know what you mean! And I completely agree.
Thanks for those blasts from the past, Raster, and thanks for the great ones from the present, Ohio.
Hi Dr Deb, Thank You so much for the Fred Barnes Book "Rebel in Chief", I'm altrady half way through it
Ya know...I just can't even begin to IMAGINE how awful it must be to be someone like a reed, kennedeee, leaheee, hillereeee and their ilk. My God...they are sooooo sour pussed and ugly inside. It sure shows on their outside. I really can't begin to imagine how they can live with themselves day by day by day. I would think their mirrors in their homes would break every time they looked into one. I am sure glad I am who I am and have a happy heart unlike them and their ilk who have nothing but hate inside their hearts. It's mind boggling but...better them than us.
November 3, 2004 - President George W. Bush announces victory in his bid for reelection at the Ronald Reagan Convention Center to declare victory in the 2004 Presidential Elections. Senator John F. Kerry, the Democratic nominee for President has called the President and conceded defeat around 11:00am this morning.
. . . and THANK YOU for the AWESOME gifts -- you are far too generous!!
[I'm reading "Rebel in Chief" for the second time -- lots of information to ponder and process!!]
WAY TO GO!
(Got the prayer thread going, so I'm back).
What a sweet, angelic expression on his face there!
Sometimes the contrast is good to bring up so we can be EVEN MORE THANKFUL for what we've got!
Right??
Thanks...It's all good!
I wonder if he knows that his pre-pubescent envy is showing?
