I wonder if the GOP is considering how many of us Independent (since the Xlinton Impeachment trial) voters that vote for their candidates mostly in defensive mode, would more than likely sit home or leave the top spot on the ballot "blank"?

I know this one for sure will not participate in a vote for McQueeg or Hitlery.

I think that'd be exactly the response that such a ticket (McCain vs. Hillary) would rely upon.

'Cause, the fanatic left is going to vote for Hillary, regardless, same as they did for Dean, regardless, in the past, and Nader, same methodology as to ardent supporters (fixed, not expanding but dedicated in their fixed numbers).

Then there'd be McCain who conservatives would not vote for (I wouldn't) and an election that conservatives would be depressed about. A lot would refuse to vote.

Presto, Hillary would win. It's too horrible a scenario to imagine.

What exactly is their major malfunction? Are they trying to give the LP the biggest boost in its entire history, and hand the country over to King Hillary?

If this is for real, I want Limbaugh, Hannity, and all the rest of the GOP mouthpieces to start calling for mass-mailing of frozen strawberries and large ball bearings to the RNC headquarters.
