A female skier enjoys the panorama from the top of the Mattjisch Horn mountain (2460 m above sea level) in the Swiss canton of Grisons, Monday, Jan. 23, 2006. The bitter cold seizing Russia held its grip into a second week Monday, and severe freezing spread into much of Europe. More than 50 people have been reported killed by the cold wave in Russia, and scores of victims were recorded elsewhere in Europe over the weekend. (AP Photo/Keystone, Arno Balzarini)

Just in time for Algore's book, remember he was at a gw meeting on the coldest day of the year.

There's a reference to "32", so I think it's Fahrenheit.

Somehow, they'll say it's global warming.

A normal winter in my part of NH, I would hate to live in real bad weather, Maine or Cunukistan.

I gathered as much, but when you're writing an article in a country that uses one system about weather in an area where they use the other system, you might want to make it clear.
Which the author didn't.
I especially liked the part about penguins freezing their feet. Didn't they see the movie?
