Democratic Leader of the U.S. Senate Harry Reid (D-NV) pauses while talking about the results of the vote in the Senate Judiciary Committee of the nomination of Samuel Alito for Associate Justice of the Supreme Court while on Capitol Hill in Washington January 24, 2006. The committee voted in favor of Alito and will now send his nomination to the floor of the U.S. Senate for a full vote. REUTERS/Larry Downing
last time I saw a mouth like that, it had a hook in it.
Clearly an "Oh, Jeez, not this $#!+ again!!" moment.
Posing for the Michael Moore wing of the party.
LOL!
My gosh, they look and act like they will all be lined up against a wall and shot. Have they been hiding Hitler all these years?
There is more behind this than a judicial appointment or an overturned ruling.
Wow! Pure evil up close (and the camera remains intact!).
At least he has a tie on - that means he is not going swimming.
My dog died, my best friend ran off with my wife, and boy do I owe the bookies big time after Sunday's Conference Championships.
He looks like he's "saddened!"
Mark
And to think Harry came within about 400 votes of getting defeated in 1998! Oh if only the GOP had been on the upswing that year. John Ensign would have beaten him. I had forgotten too that Pat Leahy was very lucky to escape a really close call in 1980. He won by less than 2% that year, I think. Imagine, we wouldn't have had to deal with him these past 26 years.
Many Whos
Down in Who-ville
Liked Alito a lot...
But the Grinch,
Who lived just North of Who-ville,
Did NOT!
Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason.
It could be that his head wasn't screwed on quite right.
It could be, perhaps, that his shoes were to tight.
But I think that the most likely reason of all
May have been that his heart was two sizes too small.
LOL LOL
"the real fight is on the floor, for cloture, and the filibuster."
The real fight is what the republicans will give up not to have one. I just don't trust the republicans to do the right thing any longer for the right reasons - for everything the dem's want, the republican "leadership" tends to give it to them and dump the base.
That's not even close to accurate! Everyone knows Dingy Harry lost his marbles years ago. : )
What's with that pic of the swimmer?
Is he squatting down to "do his business"??
He looks like a wuss.
What a pansy.
It's really gotta hurt.
I don't believe that. Reid believes in keeping the power and he (stupidly) thinks that his party is going to get there in the next election.
