I have also said the the movie "Brokeback Mountain" will do more damage to gays then it will do good. While the movie is being raved about by the left-wing, liberal, gay, Democrat sorts, the fact is, the only reason has it has good revenue stream is that gays and left-wing Democrats are seeing it over and over again to drive the dollar numbers up...Gays like Democrats always overreach, and you will see that time will undo "Brokeback Mountain" the same way Fahrenheit 911 had no political impact whatsoever."

Re: Buttbroke Mountin', check my #85 from three weeks ago. To add to your several solid points, those pounding BM in the MSM forget that every future homo movie will be held up to BM's box office numbers and found sorely lacking. And then the high-pitched whine from the DUmmies will revert to the usual Red State Hate. And Transamerica? Hasn't even done a million domestic! The pillow biters are too busy spinning the BM turnstiles.
Re: "Commander in Chief", see my prediction in #36 that the show wouldn't get picked up for a second season -- can you beat Sept, 2005 for forecasting the show's demise? Admittedly, it was no difficult task:

Supposedly, the show also lacks the 'uplifting' governmental win-win deal-brokering segments that carried "West Wing" to idol status among Libs.

Check the revenue numbers for "Brokeback Mountain" on boxofficemojo.com for Monday's showings. BM has shot its wad. It won't even make $50M. Now, on the hand, "Narnia' has pulled in close to $600M, but not a word for any awards. Do you think maybe "Hollywood" is living in a bubble or, maybe, just smoking grass? The revenue numbers for "Munich" "Syriana", "Good Night & Good Luck", "Capote" are dreadful at best.
