"There is Seasonal Affective Disorder because of the lack of sunlight."

Take Vitamin D. (at least 400IU daily. Black and dark people need to take more, I don't know how much more though.)

There's also light therapy people can do for SAD. (Google it)

I was feeling a little down yesterday, myself.

It's been a very gray fall and winter here in Vermont, but yesterday was absolutely beautiful. A perfect day, blue sky, fairly warm.

A bit depressing today, however. Snowed all day, gray sky. The only interesting note was that I actually stopped to tell a state policewoman who was supervising a tow truck that was picking up a car that went off the road that there was another car off the road about a mile further. It was upside down in a ditch, but the owner was standing by it cheerfully, waiting for help.

Normally I give state policewomen a wide birth. They can be very scary. This one actually smiled and thanked me.

Denver getting their helmets handed to them didn't help matters any.

I was down, but I'd been in the office for 21 days straight wrestling with major server issues and still can't get a moment's break. I missed most of the playoffs too.

Now that you mention it, I was feeling kinda weird yesterday.

It was probably a Hasselhoff hangover.

I will rate 1/23 the 22nd most depressing day out of the last year. October 12,2005 was a real downer!

And the most depressing thing was that Jack Bauer didn't get to kill a terrorist tonight.
