First serialized in 2003 on hobbyspace.com, The Rocket Company was published in book form in early 2005 by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, (AIAA). (See “Review: The Rocket Company”, The Space Review, February 23, 2004) It became one of the most talked about space-related books of the past year. Patrick J. G. Stiennon and David M. Hoerr co-authored this novel, which is copiously illustrated by Doug Birkholz.
