So, you've done a web search for either the title of the Sun article or a name in the article, and you got this Free Republic thread as one of your search results.  You've become  incensed at hearing the honest voices of real people regarding this matter (perhaps for the first time) and so you decided to JOIN Free Republic in order to "tell us all off".

Well, welcome to Free Republic and welcome to the Internet, which are both places where real people have a tendency to speak their minds honestly.

Because of your numerous spelling and grammar errors as well as the overall writing style of your post I'm assuming that you are very young, perhaps a child, and so I will go easy on you.  Don't make the mistake of thinking that others here or elsewhere on the internet will be so gracious to you as I am being now.  The internet is a place where courtesy generally tends to take a back seat to honest opinion, and when you take a position on an issue based upon political fashion rather than the truth of what is happening, you will be assured of getting flamed.  Be warned.

Your little rant is entirely about yourself and your family, and so you illustrate how you have completely missed the entire point of people's objections to the substance of the article and the situation.

The military is not about making you or your family 'happy'....it's about killing people, breaking things, and defending your country.  In order to do this effectively, the military has evolved in a particular way that it has found to be most effective at accomplishing it's tasks.  One of it's evolved traditions involves the concept of 'unit cohesion'....simply put, everybody is the same and so everyone can depend upon how everyone else will act and react in a given circumstance.

Believe it or not, open homosexuality is not normal in society and it is certainly not normal in the military, despite what the liberal news organs may try to get you to believe.  It creates a situation where others in the military are now unsure of some of their comrades in terms of how they will react in stress conditions, and it also is a profound insult to the rich and glorious traditions of the military, which is based upon normal, healthy people working together for the good of their nation.....not as a vehicle for social experimentation involving the extreme elements of perversion and mental illness.

The people who object to this situation that you attempt to defend are patriots who honor their country, respect it's traditions and value it's military.....as you should.

Be well and again, welcome to Free Republic.
