Also, two things -- Coach Shanahan was a perfect gentleman and great sportsman after the game. He even visited the Steeler locker room for at least 15 minutes after the game.

And for you younzers........... listening to Bill Hillgrove and Tunch Ilkin on the radio........ who was that screaming girl - shrieking after every big play, sitting near the radio booth? I almost had to turn the radio off until I realised that she was screaming FOR the Steelers.
Yoi, double yoi.
nice job ................ ping
Yoi and Double Yoi! Congratulations!
I didn't listen to WDVE radio coverage, but the game was great!!!
I wonder if Myron can gear up for a cameo at the Super Bowl.
Unless the refs are flawless in the SB, we may see one of those two high strung coaches blow a gasket. There have been times I thought the Steelers' coach's head was gonna explode. The Seattle coach looks like a potential CPR when he gete angry.
"The Bus" is going home.
I wonder if they'll bring back Myron Cope for one last time for the Super Bowl.
I listened to the game on DVE and that screaming fan was driving me nuts.
That's all the good about the Broncos I can muster.
Having lived in Colorado since the mid-70`s, I can attest to the fact that Bronco fans are total jerks.
Glad to see Pittsburg in the SB, but they'll have their hands full with the Seahawks. Hopefully, we'll have a good game to watch.
GO G-MEN!!!
KO'ing Denver was not a hard task, even the 49ers could have beaten them.
Pitt is a good team. Hard to pick one to root for but I hope and think the Seahawks will win.
With the Broncos trailing and time starting to get short, he basically says that Denver has to start being more aggressive about going deep. Which of course was bad advice -- what Denver needed was to focus on picking up first downs and using the clock more wisely. Changing your gameplan to a desparation "go deep" strategy leads to spectacular turnovers.
Then of course, as soon as Plummer starts forcing the ball downfield, Simms criticizes him for not throwing to guys who were open on shorter routes. Inconsistent diot.
Of course, as a Steeler fan, I was more than happy for Plummer to have done exactly the stupid thing Simms suggested, with the predicable result.
Glad there were no questionable calls like the one against Polamalu the week before...you don't want to see those kinds of calls in conference championship games.
I assumed it was Sophie Masloff. ;-)

I picked Carolina and Denver; sometimes it feels great to be wrong. Seattle's pass defense really surprised me. And I'm glad it's Pittsburgh instead of Denver. Somehow, having one of the classic old-time NFL teams in the Super Bowl always makes it seem like a bigger deal to me.
