I agree with you, WTP7. Canada and Mexico are NOT our friends. Mexico can't get over that 1846-48 war where we got the bulk of our present-day southwest territory, and Canada's existence is "we're not Americans." Outside of that ridiculous excuse to be a separate nation from the U.S., those silly twits have no other reason to live. If Harper wins enough to form a majority in parliament, I will truly be surprised...

Canada is our friend and our ally. We are by far their largest trading partner. The current government stinks, but that will likely change tomorrow - the opposite of Spain, where a friendly government lost power and was replaced by anti-American leftists.
