Does anyone have those pictures of Wan Ho Lee ( or whatever his name was, the Chinese spy or some cohort) with Bill Clinton?

How about what Clinton said about those photos?

If anyone has them, please post them.

Great, now we're saying that Bush is just no worse than Clinton or Carter. Talk about being damned with faint praise.

OUR NYT OP AD: Text

IN THE BACKSEAT WITH A BILLIONAIRE: A Story Told Eight Years
Later

The TomPaine.com Staff .

Picture this: A meeting in the backseat of a limousine. A
presidential candidate and a mysterious billionaire -- an
Indonesian with ties to the Chinese government.

The billionaire promises one million dollars for the candidate's
fall campaign. What he wants in exchange ... the audience is left
to imagine.

A scene from a movie about presidents and power? Unfortunately
not. This meeting really happened. The candidate: Bill Clinton.
The billionaire: James Riady.

The date of this encounter makes it interesting. Not 1996 -- the
campaign renowned for its Asian money scandal. This meeting
happened four years earlier, in 1992, and is related in a new
edition of Michael Isikoff's book, Uncovering Clinton.

Billionaire Riady made good on his word. Within days of the
conversation he arranged the first round of donations.
Eventually, his family and associates gave $986,000 -- enough to
make them the largest donors to the Democratic Party that year.
Bigger than the trial lawyers association. Bigger than the
teachers' unions.

It's astonishing that we hear this story eight years after the
fact. It was a major event in a hard-fought campaign covered by
thousands of journalists eager to become the next Woodward or
Bernstein.

Yet not one uncovered the true source of the largest donations
made that year to the Clinton-Gore team. Now think of the
coverage lavished on Elian or O.J.

No less astonishing -- we still don't know what return Riady
asked for or earned for his investment. We may never know.

It makes us wonder. ... What promises are flying now between
political patrons and the cash-hungry candidates who want to be
"public" servants?

Will we have to wait eight years to find out? Will we ever know?

This week at TomPaine.com -- In the Back Seat with a Billionaire.
Featuring excerpts from the new edition of Uncovering Clinton
(Three Rivers Press) and documents never before published.

No pics but how 'bout Paul Shanklins :

This land was your land
This land was my land
But then I sold it
To a man from Thailand
From the redwood forests
To the gulf waters
This lands been sold to the red chinese

Or however his most excellent parody against Clinton went.

I'm just so glad that Time, Newsweek, etc. went after Clinton as ferociously and obviously as they do with President Bush. Right!!!

What a joke these magazines and the rest of the MSM is! I'm just really tired of this endless assault on W and how they are trying to find anything that they can on him even if it is destructive to our National Security like in the case with the NSA deal.

There was so many obvious illegal doings in the Clinton administration and minus Rush there was NOBODY talking about it.
